Directv stream and internet

Recently switched from AT&T Uverse to Directv Stream. I know when using Uverse the AT&T people said if using a unmanaged gigabit switch not to put any of the iptv connections (dvr, receivers, wap) on the same switch as internet connections as it could flood the switch. Was wondering is this the same for Directv Stream as it is ott and not iptv? Thanks
