Channels Freezing After Commercial

I'm using an Osprey for DirecTV over Internet (it was suggested to post in this forum).

While it works flawlessly about 99% I've encountered an issue that I'm perplexed to resolve. On certain channels (TVLand or Modern Marvels as example) after a commercial ends the channel freezes. In all cases the commercial is a DirecTV inserted commercial and not one that aired on the network. The only way to unfreeze is to leave the channel and return. 

As I typed this I was watching a regional sports network channel. A commercial for Disney World aired (inserted by DirecTV). The channel froze at the end of the spot. I'm certain it was a DirecTV inserted commercial versus one from the network channel.

My Osprey is updated and the internet connection is solid plugged directly into the router.

Any ideas?
