ATT DIrect Stream C71KW-40 boxes

I had ATT Direct Stream TV and ATT Fiber Internet in my home in TX.  I purchased six of the ATT boxes for Direct Stream.  Now I have moved to IN and ATT Fiber Internet is not available in my area.  Can I still use the ATT boxes to get Direct Stream TV, if I have fiber internet from another provider?

Absolutely, that's an excellent question. If you have a different internet provider, you can still use your DIRECTV STREAM boxes at your new address. You can expect the service to be reliable as long as your internet speed connection is at least 8MBPS. Ariane, DIRECTV Community Specialist

The service, like all other streaming services, works with any broadband provider.

DIRECTV STREAM is service by internet. So in general they don't care what ISP you have. You just need internet, doesn't even have to be Fiber. Though should be a decent level of broadband, certainly not dial-up.

However it is suggested not to use internet that is metered/data capped, such as satellite internet, to avoid issues with your data allowance.
