Are You Still There

Isn't there any way to get rid of this blue box popping up on my roku box when watching TV? After a few hours it comes up asking me if I'm still watching. It's a real (Edited per community guidelines)!! Why is it even there? It's of no use for saving power because if you don't answer it recording starts! this about the dumbest thing I have seen yet with DirecTV app for Roku! Couldn't one of your fine coders make it an optional setting?

We understand the importance of uninterrupted streaming, @SlimHemi. The DIRECTV app doesn't offer a low-power or power-saving mode. To disable power-saving settings on your Roku device, follow these steps:

- Press the Home button

- Go to Settings
- Select System

- Select Power
- Select Auto power savings
- Disable the setting by unchecking the box next to Turn off after 4 hours

Let us know how it goes. John, DIRECTV Community Team

We apologize, but we're unable to view links from our end. The "Are you still watching?" message appears on downloadable apps, like the DIRECTV app, after 4 hours of inactivity. Unfortunately, this feature cannot be disabled at this time, and the Power Saving feature is only available on streaming devices, not the app. Thank you for your understanding!Mohammad, DIRECTV Community Team
