Let's talk DIRECTV Perks
Not a criticism, but an observation as a consumer:
Ok, so I used to have Xfinity Tv & Internet. Let me say upfront...NEVER AGAIN. But...one thing Xfinity did well, perhaps the only thing in fact, were their rewards/perk system. I would monthly get $1 movies, printable pages for my kiddo from her fav movies, movies on them, i.e. getting...ugh...Paw Patrol movie, Twister, etc...eventually getting books and such. Of course there were better rewards the longer I stayed, but this was all on the beginner tier.
So DIRECTV, the earning tokens thing is ok, but not great. Spending tokens to enter into sweepstakes is ok, but not necessarily a perk. Earning tokens and saving them for a reward that's worth it for me, like $19.99 movie rentals, 5.99 movie rentals, $5 off bill, those are great. Earning $25 visa is cool, if one can earn enough coinage. So suggesting better perks or improved token building.

I've been with Directv Perks since the beginning. I spin the wheel once a week religiously and get 15 dollar bill credits around once every 2 months.

@dashmetry I get what you mean. Sweepstakes entries are kind of hit or miss, and they don’t always feel like a real reward unless you actually win something. I think more guaranteed perks like discounted movie rentals, small bill credits, or even free on-demand content would make the token system feel a lot more worthwhile. It would also be nice if tokens were a bit easier to earn so people could realistically reach those better rewards without waiting forever. A system that gives regular, tangible benefits would probably keep people more engaged.

Do you have be a DTV subscriber for a minimum amount of time before the billing credits, gift cards, etc. are offered? I've been a Streaming App + Gemini customer (Choice package and 1 leased device) since October 2025 with a flawless payment history and currently have 1900+ points. Other than sweepstakes and instant win games, I have not received any rewards/offers for the billing credit, gift cards, merchandise, etc.
