There is a way to block CEC / Samsung Anynet+ / LG SimpLink / Sony Bravia Sync !!

This comes up many times: I turn the satellite client on, and my TV goes off, or something else changes on / off state.

The new Gemini always outputs CEC now, you are no longer able to stop it.

One solution not ever brought up (not in the last 2 years) is you can buy a small HDMI "dongle" that goes in the HDMI line from the Gemini that will block pin 13, the CEC signal. Look on Amazon for "CEC blocker"

So, that may help a number of posters that have this issue. (in my case I was able to configure the rest of the HDMI devices to receive the CEC command, but NOT transmit it..
