When I'm watching something on the list. How can I stop it and it goes back to list like the old remote would? I have to push exit to get out of a movie on my list and it takes me back to regular tv

What remote model are you using? Remote model is at the top left and begins with RC.

Pressing the LIST button on that RC73 remote should automatically bring you to your recordings, regardless of what you are currently watching.
