new LG oled c3 blinks black
I bough a new lg oled c3. Had an older main cable box for direct tv with satellite and it kept glitching. Got a new main box from direct tv and now tv will go black for a second every 5 minutes or so. I was told it takes 24 hrs before it will stop doing this but still happening. The tv has no issues with all of streaming services just direct tv satellite.

What DirecTV box model number?
How is the box connected to your TV? HDMI?
Have you tried a different HDMI cable? Different HDMI INPUT on the TV?

Hi, thank you for replying. my Direct tv box is model HR54-500 (Direct tv satellite receiver). Yes I'm using an HDMI cord this is 6yrs old maybe. What would you recommend if I do an HDMI cable upgrade?

Get an HDMI cord that supports the latest HDMI/HDCP 2.1 4K video standards.
