Jeopardy! did not record tonight

I have satellite service in Phoenix, AZ.  I have had my DVR to record all new episodes of Jeopardy! for years.  All of a sudden, it did not record the episode tonight.  Looking at my Series Manager, there were zero upcoming episodes.  I created a new series recording, and it has found the 9 episodes for the next 2 weeks.  What happened???  Jeopardy! is still on local channel 3 at 7:30, no apparent changes, but the old recording item quit working.  All recording options are identical.  There is plenty of room on my hard drive, and no other program recordings have been affected.

Best guess is a simple one-time glitch or guide data (which is provided 3rd party to DirecTV) was counting future episodes as a different series for some unknown reason.

Either way you got it set back up and hopefully this is just a very rare occurrence.

Thanks, @Juniper, for the prompt response, and @wjfield, for bringing this to our attention.

If the recording issue with 'Jeopardy!' reoccurs, let us know so we can take a closer look and investigate further. Kenneth, DIRECTV Community Team

We also have lost all new and saved Jeopardy recordings and it has recorded nine in December at all. We watch thru WJLA in the DC region.

@Aeb872

Try deleting the current scheduled recordings and then setup new for the next episode going forward. If that works, then like the OP's issue, sounds like something changed in the internal marking for Jeopardy counting it as a different series.

If you cannot setup a fresh recording setting for the show, then more details may be needed to help other users and DirecTV investigate the issue (model of boxes, any other channels/shows affected, when was the last successful recording, etc.).
