Gemini low storage fix

My Gemini box keeps popping up a notice about low storage.  The solutions I've found online don't seem to work.  Any suggestions?

The Gemini has Nothing to store anything on. Look at the server h44 or hr54 or hs17 it is connected to and see how much space is left on the hard drive. when you do a List of programs it will show a percentage of how much hard drive space is left.

If your Gemini is Co-located meaning your server will not display to a TV -then you will need to delete some recorded programs

Hey there,  @sward81333, just a heads up, the Gemini device is mainly designed for our streaming customers, but it can totally work in a satellite setup too.   If you're seeing that message pop up a lot, it might be a good idea to remove some apps on the Gemini.   You can easily follow the steps located here https://spr.ly/612177fRRc Mark, DIRECTV Community Specialist

Thanks guys.  Deleting recordings on the Genie didn't seem to resolve the issue.  I'm down to 65% free and the storage warning continued.  A few days later, I started uninstalling streaming apps that I don't use and that seems to have solved the issue.

Thanks again.

Ok so not recording storage (which the Gemini doesn't have, so for classic users we think recording on the main Genie) but the downloaded apps. That now makes sense.

Perhaps DirecTV should update their message to include suggesting to delete unused/low priority apps to make this more clear?
