Gemeni screen goes black for about a minute then comes back

On my main TV I have a Gemini receiver. When watching TV it will occasionally just go black like it is off then about a minute later it goes back on without touching anything.

Is this a new installation?

When did the problem start?

Is the Gemini connected directly to the TV or via a Surround AV Receiver or Soundbar?

Have you tried a different TV HDMI INPUT?  Or different HDMI cable?

Installed in October but the problem has been there all the time
Connected directly to the TV
Same HDMI Cable and port I have used for 5 years. Had Xfinity before I switched and never had the problem with Xfinity.

TV brand/model? How old?

Go ahead and try a different HDMI port and cable, then report back.

Samsung QN75QN9oAAF 3 years old. Problem doesn't happen all that often, maybe 3 or 4 times a day. It is defiantly a DIRECTV equipment problem.

No, it is a handshaking problem with HDCP.

Lots of folks use that Samsung TV without this issue. Try a different HDMI cable and TV INPUT.

Just want to thank @litzdog911 and @shannon02 for their help. The problem has not returned since I switched cables and ports!
