Only the HR44/54 Genies and the HS17 Genie2 have the software needed to allow you to stream and unless they have updated it you can't stream programs from the DVR yet.

The CCK is only to allow the HR24 to wirelessly connect to home internet for optional On Demand. It does not allow you to remotely watch the recordings on a tablet.

Even if you have the 2nd/3rd generation Genie (HR44/HR54) in the setup, the DirecTV app was recently replaced and the new one still has a ways to go in order to incorporate prior features.

If you have the Genie, then the CCK would only cause problems unless that HR24 is on a separate dish/cabling setup. This is because the built-in one of the Genie takes priority and doesn't work well with the old external one being in the mix.

It looks like from other responses that I won't be able to stream using my CCK and my HR24 receiver. How do we communicate using DM
