Why is my equipment no longer working as it use to?

My equipment is slowing down. The response to my remote is getting slower.

The equipment is doing things I don't ask it to do. WHY?

This seems to be happening more often.

Why DO I HAVE TO WATCH COMMERCIALS after recording shows to watch? I paid for these shows and not commercials! 

I am dropping ALL shows that do this immediately.

If you don't care, that's okay. You don't get my money, which I know fits with others. If you don't want to provide me with what I want, I will not pay you for what you want!

Only programs recorded from On Demand can't be FF.

Try a search for      clearmybox     that will dump the guide data and other things and it will take a day or two to rebuild, any programs set to record will.

You can't drop individual channels.

More networks disable FF/REW for their On Demand content. As it is from internet, not the satellite feed, DirecTV has no control over it. This is a loophole the networks use, similar to streaming on their individual websites.

It is not the shows doing it but the networks themselves. To drop all that do it means you drop all TV. Or just don't use On Demand.

We don't get your money ever. You are not speaking with DirecTV. This is a public forum of other customers.

As for equipment slowing down, perhaps we can provide some guidance on that. What are the models of each box you have? Which ones are slowing? What troubleshooting (if any) have you tried?
