We signed up, paid, and waited. Then we complained without stopping. Then we stopped payment, to get your attention.
We got nothing, so now we're done with Directv, and will never try this again.

Signed up, how? (DirecTV's website, direct customer sales, or a 3rd party)
Was there a problem with the appointment? (signing up requires scheduling one)
In order for any guidance to be provided, you have to list the actual problems. Waited and complaining without stopping doesn't really tell the community anything. This is a public forum of other customers, we don't know the situation unless you tell us.
You call DirecTV to cancel order. If you issue a stop payment that can result in other charges, like a returned payment fee. So if you truly are done it is better to cancel as that would have returned the payment within so many business days. (assuming you are not installed yet, as once installed order is final).
