Refund or transfer a DirecTV satellite credit to a DirecTV stream account
Why does it take 45 to 60 days to issue a refund? Why can’t the credit be applied to my DirecTV stream account? Why won’t a supervisor call me when I request to speak to one?

DTV sat and DTV streaming are two separate services so credits from one can't be applied to the other. DTV rarely calls back. Since DTV no longer prorates the final bill there is generally no credits or refunds.

DirecTV and DIRECTV STREAM are two separate providers. It would be like asking to transfer credit from Cableone to Comcast. The billing between the two have nothing to do with each other.
Having a credit on DirecTV is extremely unusual. Final bills have not been prorated since January 2019. Traditionally if there was a credit balance, it would not refund until 30 days had passed since the account closed. This was to account for any final adjustments to balance, such as early cancellation fee (ECF), non-return fee (NRF) of any boxes, or possibly unbilled PPVs found still on the access card(s). It doesn't take 45-60 to issue the refund as the 45 days is an estimate to account for that plus time for the prepaid card to reach you.
DirecTV normally doesn't do callbacks. They are too busy with everyone calling in. Those agents are not sitting around with nothing to do. Such is the environment of a call center.
