How do I address payments made to Directv while not receiving service

You have to call DTV 1 800 531 5000 to get any credits.

You didn't call to cancel for 22 months. DirecTV didn't do anything wrong as you failed to call them to close the account. You address it by paying and moving on as was your responsibility.
