Overpayment

What makes you believe there was an overpayment to refund? Your final bill is not prorated. You are billed for a full month.

You would have to call and talk with customer service to find out that information as we are all just customers here like you.

Final bill with a credit balance is very unusual since DirecTV stopped prorating final bills about 4 years ago (Jan 2019).

Call DirecTV and have the agent verify if there was still a credit balance and if so does the system show it was issued out. If the credit balance shows valid, but not issued, they will need to submit a refund request which is approved/denied within 10 business days. The current refund process is to send a prepaid card with the balance.
