NFL Sunday Ticket - Groundhog Day

I keep reliving the same experience over and over.  I had NFL Sunday Ticket via DirecTV as of Fall 2020.  I called to ensure renewal cancellation in April 2021.  In October 2021, September 2022, and November 2022, I've called to explain the situation: I don't want NFL Sunday Ticket, I've tried to cancel, please reverse charges, and stop charging me for NFL Sunday Ticket.  Each time, after at least 45 minutes on the phone and at least 4 call transfers / re-explanations of the issue, the charges are reversed and I'm assured that the problem won't happen in the future.  Yet here I am being charged for NFL Sunday Ticket again.  I don't know what else to do but plead with you here - please correct this issue @ATTDIRECTVCare.  You also continue to periodically tack on minimum service charges.  The service is provided through my building, and as far as I am aware, it should require $0/month for continued service.  Please advise if you think differently and I'll contact the HOA for clarification.  Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Did they notate the account in April 2021 that you did request to opt out of the renewal? That will determine if they can overall fix to your satisifaction.

Sounds like agents September, October, and November are just throwing credits at the account. As I understand, once season starts in September those agents don't have an option to opt-out anymore. There is supposed to be an escallation process if the renewal was in error, but that only works if they have the proof on the account that you requested opt-out in time. As renewal is in June with 1st of 6 installments in July, if there is no note on their end that you made the request before the season started, then those agents are stuck.

If account notes support you requested in time, then I would look into a BBB complaint at this point because of the ongoing problem. This sends it to the corporate level.

As for "Minimum Service", that is a status when an account has goon past due to the point of have a 'soft' interuption. Puts account into a Minimum Service package of a few (somewhat undesirable) channels until payment is made to fully restore service. With the account provided by the building, and serviced by their System Operator (not DirecTV itself) as is a Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) setup, you may have to go through your building managment/HOA, etc. to resolve that part.

This is a public forum of other customers. For official support you call DirecTV, though there are challenges right now with the migration/spin-off with the new co-owner. But as mentioned, you may need the BBB route for the NFL Sunday Ticket issue at this point. Just remember to double check bills starting with June, that way you catch any renewal issue before it is too late (If DirecTV still carries it as NFL Sunday Ticket options are a bit up in the air for the 2023 season and going forward).
