would like to find a way to lower my bill i am a senior on a fixed income and have been with you for 20 years please help

This is a public forum of other customers. DIRECTV does not offer senior discounts. TV is not seen as a necessity, but rather something you get if you have the want for it. 
Call DIRECTV ( number in my greeting below) and say ‘cancel’ to the robot to be sent to the loyalty/retention department where an agent may be able to give you a discount if you threaten to cancel.

To lower your bill you reduce service. I would suggest reviewing the channels to see if most of what you are enjoying might be in a lower costing package.

When ready, call DirecTV to reduce service (or cancel account if absolutely needed). This is a public forum so you can't make changes to your account here.
