ESPN Unlimited

I used to have a DIRECTV Stream account. I had taken advantage of the included Disney Bundle. When I switched to Satellite, I never received the ESPN Unlimited activation email, and now I no longer have access to ESPN Unlimited. When I log into my DIRECTV Account, where the link would be to request an activation link, my account has a Disney Customer Number.

When I reached out to ESPN, they said the customer number was linked to my old DIRECTV Stream account and is expired. DIRECTV support keeps telling me I need to have ESPN un-link that customer number from my ESPN account. Both ESPN and DIRECTV keep sending me back and forth. How do I get my old account un-linked and get a new activation for ESPN Unlimited from DIRECTV?

Have you tried to activate your ESPN Unlimited subscription manually? If not, try to sign in to https://spr.ly/61217B649ad > Account Overview > Manage My TV Package, then select ESPN Unlimited > Activate now.


Pro-tip: Try changing the email address on your new Satellite account to something unique. This prevents the ESPN system from getting "confused" by the duplicate email associated with your old Stream account. Melchisedec, DIRECTV Community Team

Hi. That’s what I was trying to explain in my post. The “Activate Now” link doesn’t exist for me under Manage My TV Package. Where that link would be, there’s a link that says Disney Customer Number. When I click that, it brings up a pop up that says:

Disney Customer ID

########-####-####-####-############

You may need this ID when contacting customer support. For more information about Disney+, please visit the Disney+ Help Center.

I used different email addresses for my DIRECTV Satellite and Stream accounts, so that’s not it. Somehow DIRECTV didn’t generate a new Disney Customer ID for me even though I used a different email address for my new Satellite account.
