Equipment charges on a closed account

The most recent DIRECTV bill shows charges for unreturned equipment. All of the equipment associated with the account was returned at the same time to FedEx as per instructions. I have a return receipt for some of the equipment.

Finding customer services contacts has proven to be fruitless.

Unless DTVhelp sends you a PM/DM you have to call DTV 1-800-531-5000.  The receipt is proof you returned them.

There is nothing to find as is still the same customer support number they have had for years. Included in my signature below. I would suggest when you get the voice system say "cancel" to have a retention/cancellation agent look into it.

If that doesn't resolve it, than a BBB complaint will be needed. Make sure to include that you still have the receipt showing FedEx took those exact boxes. This goes to the corporate level and usually you get contact back within a few business days. Though do add a little leeway as right in the middle of the holiday season.
