Why am I being charged for 9 months when I only have 8 months left on my contract?

Contact DirecTV directly. This is just a customer forum - not support. No one here has access to accounts.

Call DirecTV and verify your contract date.
Be aware only active months count towards service agreement completion. Any months in which you had a voluntary suspend, or turned off for past due, do not count.
