disconnecting acocunt

Hello, I called in on Sunday to have my service disconnected.  The rep gave me a confirmation number and said I would receive an email within 24 hours to let me know if i needed to return equipment or not and I have still not received it.  I really wish DirecTV/ATT would have an email for issues like this that we could do status updates, not all of us have time to be on the phone.   Is there someplace I can go to to see if this has been handled?  When I log on to my account I wish It would show that I have called in to disconnect.

DirecTV has split off from AT&T as they have a new co-owner taking over operations. So a lot of info and automated processes seem to be in flux.

There is no place to 'go'. DirecTV has never had physical locations of their own. You call for support.

However, what are the models of each box you have? Perhaps guidance can be given on that.

On a side note, cancellation goes through at the end of your service month as they do not prorate the bill.
