DirecTV APP

Dear DirecTV,

         The other day I noticed my DVR hasn't been working while I am NOT at home.  I was told there is NO ETA on when the app will be fixed...

Yep. Too many bugs in the new app. Hope they're fixed soon.

Dear DirecTV,

This is not a letter to them. This is a public forum of other customers, not official support.

The other day I noticed my DVR hasn't been working while I am NOT at home.

Do you mean it is not recording as scheduled, so when you get home no recordings happened? And the issue only occurs when you aren't home (that is weird)? What model of boxes and are each ones affected? Detail symptoms and any error messages.

I was told there is NO ETA on when the app will be fixed...

What problem do you have with the app? Do you have the old standalone app or the new unified one between DirecTV and DIRECTV STREAM?

To be sure, do you have DirecTV (satellite) or DIRECTV STREAM (streaming-only)?
