direct tv gift card scam
Hello, I got dtv in Feb and was promised a $300 gift card within 4-6 weeks. I never got it or received anything and I started calling multiple times about it. I was told over and over it would be within the next month or the next week or a certain date. I continued to call, chat and speak to customer service and the rewards center. They did acknowledge I was supposed to get one but customer service could only escalate which they did with no change and finally the rewards center said it had expired because it wasn't timely!!! now I had been calling for months!!!!! So my husband is so angry and now we have had both of our mother's pass away during these months and we have had our dtv disconnected. I chatted again a couple of weeks ago to see if there was anyway they would at least apply the gift card to our acct so I could get our service restored, but of course they would not. I spoke to some wonderful customer service reps. Ivy was awesome and even called me back after trying to resolve the issue. This feels like a lie and a scam. I was promised this and it was acknowledged but never sent. acct (Edited as per community guidelines)
