Hi there, having your bill information clear is essential. DIRECTV's goal is to provide great content at a great value. The rapid and significant rise in programming costs, primarily local broadcast, and sports, puts DIRECTV in the unfortunate position of having to increase monthly rates for customers. For more information, please visit directv.com/DIRECTVpricing. I'll contact you through DM to take a closer look at your bill. Santiago, DIRECTV Community Specialist

Diect Tv bill

Remember it is DirecTV (only a single 'T'). Just to be careful of scams out there.

My bill keeps going up - why?

DirecTV has a annual price adjustment. Goes into effect in January, but depends where your bill cycle falls if you see it on the January or February bill. If you bill changes outside of that, I would look of the bill for the exact details. Key things to look for are monthly discounts that completed or any one-time charges.

I have a package with phone, internet and tv - why am I not saving any money?

If you have a discount from it being bundled, then you are saving money. It would be higher without it. Remember, saving money from full cost doesn't mean it makes the service cheap.

Am I under a contract?

To find out you must call DirecTV. When you get the voice prompt say "cancel" which will route you to their retention/cancellation department that may discuss the existing agreement with you (since the most common reason to know is considering canceling). You will need to do the same for AT&T (assuming that is your phone/internet provider) as they are separate services.

We cannot look into your account as this is a public forum of other customers. The official "help" team is only supplemental to regular support, so for many things you still must call. Just in case you don't get everything you need from Santiago.
