credit card charge

Why is there a $400.00 charge on my credit card. This site is where I was directed.

Lemuel users cannot initiate a DM as they don't have the icon available. Your support team has to send them a DM that will turn on the option so they can reply.

Hopefully the official forum help team can help figure it out. Be aware outside of their involvement, this is a public customer to customer forum for consumers to help each other out.

What does it say on your card statement for that $400? Do you have DirecTV or DIRECTV STREAM service? You mention you were directed to this forum. Who are what directed you here?

Were you under contract with them and canceled your service in the 1st month of service?  That is the only reason I can think of to be charged that much.  When you sign up for Directv Sat Service you are under a 2-year contract and if you cancel their service you have to pay the cancelation fee which is $20 a month for the remainder of your contract with them.  Your best bet for help would be to call the customer service number at the bottom of my response or reach out to Directv Customer Service through Twitter, Reddit, or Instagram they respond much faster and are much more knowledgeable.  Hope this helps.
