Complaint
I spent 2 and 1/2 hours paying my bill today. Your smart Maxine’s are not very smart. I had five agents hang up on me. Somehow you people think I have all day to pay you I am the customer and have had Att and bell service for almost 60 years Some one needs to call me Bruce owen ( Edited as per the guidelines )

This is a public forum of other customers, not official DIRECTV support. So, posting your phone number for anyone to see is not the most wise idea. Also, this is the directv community forums and not AT&T. If you have a complaint or need help resolving issues with AT&T phone products, post over on the AT&T Community: forums.att.com

While logged in use the Action List (3 dots next to the timestamp of your post) to edit out your phone number.
If this post was for any other AT&T service, not DirecTV itself, then post in their forums. Be aware both forums are customer to customer, not official support. https://forums.att.com/
Customer support doesn't call you. Instead you call them as normal. If you want guidance from other customers, post the details about what is going on and sometimes we can help.
I know Maxwell Smart (would you believe it?) but not Maxine Smart.
But if in the end you are just paying a bill, well it would usually be suggested to log into your account online. Paying with a live agent results in a $5 phone transaction fee.
