channel package

want to remove a channel package i go on site click manage package click on it nothing happens but if you want to add a package it works

Sometimes the website may act up when downgrading your package. You need to call DIRECTV (number in my greeting below) and say ‘billing’ to the robot to be sent to the right agent that will assist you.

Whether you are lowering your channel package (can't remove otherwise you'd have no TV), or removing an optional pack of channels (i.e. HBO), you call DirecTV. They have always had us call for anything that reduces revenue to discuss with an agent to see if they can minimize the loss.

Would be nice if the new co-owner changes it so that we could do that online, at least for some things. Sometimes we just need to save costs for a while to keep it affordable.

I would suggest if you have a DVR, record anything from any channels you will no longer have. That way you have a backup library, or can catch up on things you want. (satellite channel, not On Demand as those still expire).
