You need to call DIRECTV (number in my greeting below) and say ‘billing’ to the robot. This will send you to the right department to deal with cancelling a specific add- on.
You call to remove anything. This is by design so a live agent can discuss the situation and minimize any lost revenue to the company. Same thing if you want to lower your package. If their options or suggestions don't work, stay firm but polite and have Showtime removed.
As a side note, anything you recorded (from the satellite channel, not On Demand), will stay on your HDDVR. That way you can have a back up library, or perhaps episodes you haven't caught up on yet.
