Bill way to high!!
I find that my bill is constantly going up, it feels like $4.00 on a tri-monthly basis and I am not happy with this, I had to lower my package when baseball season ended because I was paying !!!$160.00+. I've been a Directv customer since the very beginning of its inception and I feel like i'm being taken, I'm seriously considering canceling this service...

Go ahead and cancel. Just be aware, it does not matter where you go, that prices will increase. Broadcasters are demanding increases, so you the customer will continue to see increases.

The only way your bill should go up every few months is if you had a variety of discounts that all ended at differnet times. Otherwise, DirecTV only has a annual (once-a-year) price adjustment because of the increasing costs from the networks.
Before making any decisions, I would suggest going back and reviewing the bills. Verify when they are actually adjusting and for what reason. Instead of this vague feeling, get the facts and that way you can make an informed decision.
