AT&T is terrble.

AT&T was once a very good company that really had gotten bad over the last couple decades. So was DirecTv. A good company with very good customer service.Until AT&T took over.Employees and customers alike saw the terrible results of a Liberal, woke company that just decided which news channels we could watch. No thank you. DirecTv is my only connection to ATT we have left, but not for long. Too many options out there these days to be concerned about loyalty. We've been with Direc for over 20 years ! They have messed up my MLB package every year the last 4 years . What a shame. Another good company ruined.

All TV providers can choose what networks (or group of networks when shared by the same owner), they carry (or attempt to carry as cannot force the other side to say yes). That is their right. There is no requirement they carry any particular news channel.

No matter how much you throw around buzz words of "liberal" and "woke" as your insult of the day, the situation with OANN is long over. So a bit late to be stomping your feet. If you can't live without those options then time to get over it and move on to where you feel it suits you better.

I am a loyal DirecTv customer for over 20 years. I don't know what else I can say. I mentioned we are not happy when a news channel we had enjoyed was just dropped because of political views. It was not about money as ATT reported. The dropped channel received much less than other " news" channels.I don't want anyone to decide what we watch. As for the current dispute, all prices go up as you have pointed out.As customers we may never be informed about the issues at hand . Survival is one thing. Greed is another.

Hello. We at DIRECTV highly value our loyal customers, just like you. Right now, we are still at the negotiation table with TEGNA to restore your local channels as soon as possible without any unreasonable price increase. Please send us a DM, and we will look into the best saving options available for you. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this ongoing negotiation. AT&T sold off 30% of DTV and the new partner is handling the day to day operations.

Some agents said is was for money, but I believe they were treating it as a normal carriage negotiation. Now AT&T not seeing it as good value is not the same as a money issue. But it is a moot point. Channel was gone about 2 years ago and is not coming back.
