Sony Bravia power up with direct tv remote

To clarify…the tv powers on but will not come on to the correct input for the direct tv connection. In other words if the the tv was on Netflix for example prior to power off it will only power up back to that input with the direct tv remote. Can the direct tv remote be programmed to power on the tv to the corrrect input for direct tv?
