Recurring "pairing" message
"Use your DIRECTV remote to control this Yes No"
If I answer NO, the message disappears, and the interaction ends.
If I answer YES, it goes through a "pairing" process and the interaction ends.
Either way, NOTHING changes.
I have already done the 30-second "orange button" process. It occurs again the next day.

Remote is (and was) paired upon receipt. No problem with THIS remote.
The PROBLEM is the RECURRING demand to repair the remote. Repairing it or not, NOTHING changes. The next day, the problem recurs. This has been going on for six+ (6+) months.
