Don't know how to install DirectTV Stream

We ordered DirectTV Stream back in February 2023 and was told it was "easy to install." Well it is not so we have had everything to install without the ability to do so. What a waste of money! We need someone to come and install so we can take advantage of what we purchased!! How do we make this happen?

What do you have that needs to be installed are you trying to install a Directv Streaming Box called the Gemini to your tv?  Directv Stream does not have installers you have to do it yourself.  Or are you trying to watch it through another device such as Roku or Firestick, etc...

Yes, it should be very easy.

If you're using the DirecTV Stream box:

  • Connect box to power
  • Follow on-screen steps to log into your DirecTV Stream account and connect to your home WiFi network
  • Enjoy streaming

If you're using a streaming device:

  • Download the DirecTV Stream App
  • Log in with your DirecTV Stream username and password
  • Ensure that your streaming device is connected to your home WiFi
  • Enjoy streaming

So what issue(s) are you having?

We have smart tvs but not that work with Direct TV box so we have to install RoKu then Direct TV.

It should never be assumed and told it's easy to install - if it were we would have installed it back in February. Also do not like that there is no one to talk with. The option to have a tech come and install would be nice to have available. Especially since AT&T is phasing out cable. Where's the customer service.

You could have went to the website and found available devices. If your smart tv doesn't have the app----you could have learned that on the website before signing up.
