Unable to see any options when I go to settings

I like to be able to turn closed captioning on and off for different shows. However, now when I go to menu and scroll down to settings there are no options available. Actually when I scroll down I only see options for MY Library, Sports Central and TV shows. When I scroll to Movies, Apps or Settings I don't even see a title banner, never mind options. The last title banner I see is TV shows. I have reset my receiver but that didn't help. Ideas?
