TV intermittently turning off when watching DirecTV via satellite, but not when streaming other sources via Wi-Fi

We have a 3 year old LG OLED TV and a new Genie (old one replaced last week.)  When watching with the Genie, the TV intermittently turns off, sometimes comes back on, usually not.  When this happens, the remote doesn’t work, so we have to disconnect the power and then reboot.  None of this happens when streaming other sources via Wi-Fi.  We contacted DirecTV Support and they replaced the Genie, also recommended removing batteries from the remote except when tuning, recommended using a different power strip.  None of this helped.  Does anyone have advice?
