Today error code 622 on 2 of 3 directTV devices. 2 Advanced Whole Home Client recievers

C41-100 mfg date 10/16/13 and C41-500 mfg date 12/6/14.

Worked fine last night 2 of 3 errors 622 this AM. No storms or other problems also no wiring issues. Have unplugged all devices and reset only thing I have not done is to reset Genie on the TV that's still working.

It's like someone s has shut service off for both older devices. Help

Please reset the main Genie receiver, as it is responsible for providing the information to the Genie mini receivers. Error 622 is a loss of connection between the Genie and the Genie client. I assume that a red button reset on the main Genie receiver will fix your issue. If not, there could be a cabling issue/splitter issue between the clients and main Genie receiver.

Found the door to reset button on front of main Genie receiver and that corrected both mini's. all solved.

Thank You

What models are all 4 boxes?

Do you have any other boxes in the mix?

When you did the red but reset or unplugged power (for all boxes), did you do them one at a time in a specific order? Genie > Clients > Receivers (if you have any).

I first did all steps for just one genie, then saw the others had same problem went directly to the receiver and did the steps and then reset genies after the receiver had been reset. Nothing has made any difference. the models are : Receiver HR54-500 Genie minis C61-100

thanks

Just checking as Genie (HR54 is the 3rd generation) controls all Clients. So red button reset that first was the right thing to do.

To be sure, make sure coax is finger tight to all boxes. Then unplug power from all of them. Start with the Genie to power on, but do not power on the first Client until Genie is fully booted back up. If that is what you did, or after trying doesn't fix it, then either it would be a cabling/splitter issue in the chain from the Genie to the Clients or a problem with the Genie itself (since issue is all Clients, not just one).

For reference, delivery of replacement box would be $19.95 delivery or if tech is sent on service call $99. (covered if you are paying for the monthly Equipment Protection Plan). For either you call DirecTV to order.
