Surround sound

I have had a Sony surround sound system on my Directv and it worked fine but now that I have the Gemini box my sound will shut off,then if I turn the surround sound off and back on I get sound, very frustrating

I've had the same issues, certain channels seem to do it most... at one time I had to turn dolby off... sometimes changing channels helped... I got it often on Fox, changing up to 361 or 362 and back often solved it.

Seems to be some decoding issue.

I read the help link... reboot your stuff, check your cables, reset the system.

Never helped me... and the fact it happened way more often on one channel tells me it was not my amp or cables.
