Specific Type of Coax Cable?

So, since I just resolved my issue with the whole home DVR, the tech also mentioned for me to get the proper type of Coax cables, he said I have an R59 version and what I needed was an R60? I need a large run to go around my home, do any of you recommend a website where I can purchase the proper type of cables or can I get away with the Monster Coax cables that I currently have? Hopefully this makes sense...

The proper coax will have a solid copper core.  Not sure if any of the big box stores carry this.  Beware that most coax is copper coated steel.

It should be RG6, not RG60, solid copper core (quad shield is not necessary).  Compression connectors should be used.

You can try this site which is very reliable for sub-contractors to get supplied from.

Ahhh yes, R60, thanks Bob! I was actually hoping to get about a 50 foot run with the connectors at both ends since I do not have any termination equipment.

I bought a Wireshark compression tool at Home Depot for <$20.

I believe you'll find suitable precut,  preterminated cables at places like solidsignal.com .

Whom ever said not to use rg60 doesn't realize that rg6 and rg60 are the same. Rg58 rg59 and then rg60, but the zero is dropped for obvious reasons. Radio Guide 60 is rg6.
