You would call DirecTV for the upgrade order. However, before you do so, what are the models of each box you have? That way you get guidance on the best personal option instead of an agent who just wants to "upsell everything".

You need a SWM slimline dish to get the HD channels.

Also is this the residence on your account, or is this for an RV, camper, or a vacation home/cabin?

It’s for an rv. Also I have a slimline dish. Can I up grade the dish without replacing it with a new tuner?

Ok for an RV, that is at your own cost instead of a normal DirecTV upgrade. They only will do the actual residence.
Need a slimline SWM dish on a tripod/sled mount, or the Winegard Trav'ler. Along with it you need an MPEG-4 capable box, so H or HR model. Or R22 if already active on the account with one of those other models. Depending on model may need a BB Deca to allow it to work on SWM.
LNB must match dish, but those should come together.

When you say "tuner" do you mean for over-the-air (OTA) locals?
