reprogramming remote daily

What is the receiver model of the receiver in your bedroom that is being operated with the Genie remotes in IR mode? As long as the receiver continues to remain in IR mode,  no remotes already set for IR should have to be continually programmed.

I was wrong with my question. This is my brothers Genie. I have an older model.
The remotes return to IR and he needs them to stay in RF so can adjust the Genie from his room. He said aggravating. He turns the tv on when he awakens and cannot adjust the channel.

Sorry I messed up the question. Old so all this technology gets me confused.

So is the receiver in question your brothers Genie or a different receiver? Please provide the receiver model of the box you are needing assistance on. 

What remote models are being used with the receiver (at the top right of the remote and starts with RC)? And he needs them to stay in RF? How many remotes is he using with this one box?

my remote controls are programmed to use RF but within a few hours or days they default to IR and stop functioning. it is not difficult to program them again it is just annoying.

Please provide the receiver model and remote models of each remote
