Replacing Genie Gen 2

A corner of my Genie has a small piece broken. It still works fine. Would a replacement be allowed for such?

Yes, but you would have to tell DIRECTV that the Genie died and no longer works. Otherwise, they will not allow you to replace it for the cost of shipping ($19.95 or FREE with Protection Plan).

By replacing the Genie, you lose all recordings and saved searches/series timers.
