Remote no longer shuts off TV
My remote will no longer shut off my TCL 55R635. Worked fine till a few days ago. Tried to reprogram, but it still doesn’t work. Still works fine with the DTV receiver, and volume up and down works.

Hi there. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. In order to program your remote control with your TV, please go to settings and search for the option "Remote & devices: Program your remote." Active the "Remote programming" option since this allows you to control your TV with the DIRECTV remote. Check your TV manual and make sure HDMI control is set to on (CE) (look under) Hdmi control.
Other than that Use your tv remote to Turn the TV off.
