my directv remote will no longer work with my Seiki model SE322FS & it appears directv no longer supports this tv ... used to work fine a mere 3 months ago ... why would a TV that previously worked fine suddenly be dropped by directv?????

Technically DTV doesn't support any TVs, the makers send their codes somewhere to be added to a list that DTV and others use.
