what is model number of remote?
Sounds like you need to re-pair the remote... or you could reset to IR...

If DTV was down it would be nationwide.

The only remote that may have blue lights is the Gemini. AFAIK all other remotes have red/green.

Must be a lot of us with problem…wait on help line was 3 hours. I did find out to hold down red button on side of receiver for 15 seconds. It reset the system, new problem, when tv is turned and on later, I have to reset again…headache to set up each time.

Thank you @Poohkp. I had to reconfigure everything but it's now working fine, not sure what's going to happen when I turn it off though 😏

Holding down the red button didn’t do anything for our problem. We still have the blue light on the receiver and blinking blue lights on the remote.
Any other suggestions out there?

I got a chat from DIRECTV today, saying it was a global problem. They were just getting back to chat requests 2 days later so it’s obviously a mess. You may have to wait online for help… good luck!

DTV only has rights to broadcast in the USA. There are others that broadcast in Latin America.
