Questions about using the DTV App streaming Library, Recording
DirecTV support could not answer these questions. Hopefully, the forum can help me.
My service includes five TVs: Two TVs have satellite service with Genie, and the others use stream DirecTV with Amazon Fire TV Max.
1. My DTV streaming app Library is full of recorded programs. There is no option to delete recorded programs from the APP Library.
How do you do this?
2. I can play some recordings from the Genie Satellite service on the DirecTV streaming app, but others will not play. The app says it can only be played on Genie Satellite equipment. Why is that?
3. How do you record a program series using the DirecTV streaming app on the Fire TV Max device?
I think that DirectTV support could help me with these questions. They can not?

1. You can't delete recordings from the app. Only from the DVRs.
2. Some networks/shows restrict streaming rights. That's why you need to view from the DVR itself. When you're streaming you're not actually view the content recorded on the DVRs.
3. I thnk you need to setup those recordings from the DVRs.
Perhaps you would be happier with DirecTV's Streaming service. These limitations don't exist if you're a Stream customer. The satellite service is truly designed for satellite equipment, not streaming devices.

Thanks for the response. I just realised with Sat service, you do not get the full streaming services.
