Problems with LG OLED77C1PUB TV, Direct receiver HDMI2, Denon AVR4700

Hello,

Does anyone have this issue or similar? Is there a resolution?

Connection:

From LG TV eARC HDMI2 to AVR HDCP2.3 eARC

Directv receiver connected to AVR cable/Sat HDMI1

AppleTV 4k connected to AVR Media Player HDMI4

BluRay connected to AVR Blu-Ray HDMI3

Keep getting no signal on screen intermittently. I select input source buttons on LG remote to select HDMI2.  HDMI2 is listed as UNKNOWN HDMI2. I then disconnect the HDMI cable from the Denon AVR eARC and connect it directly to Directv receiver. After selecting input button HDMI2 is still listed as UNKNOWN. In the same LG setting I select 3 dots in top right corner, select edit and change name from UNKNOWN to Set-Top Box. Selected save. HDMI2 is now listed as Set-Top Box. Swapped connection from Directv receiver back to AVR eARC. On LG remote selected input source. HDMI2 went back to being listed as UNKNOWN which causes problem with directv remote to become intermittent.

I have tried different HDMI cables, HDMI ports on AVR, turning off SLIMLINK-CEC on LG TV, resetting my AVR to default, turning HDMI control off Directv receiver, resetting Direct receiver to default settings. AppleTV works perfectly and is listed properly in LG. This has been going on for weeks.

Regards,

Andre

Did you try another HDMI port on the TV?  Sounds like a TV problem and not sure why the DTV remote is having a problem when the TV says unknown.

Get a new HDMI cable... I got an 8k certified one from Amazon, got rid of these random blackout issues. I use the LG EARC output.

I run the latest LG G3, Denon AVR-X3800H, Genie 2 / Gemini system.
