Previous button not going back to the previous channel

We are having the exact issue with the previous button not going back to the proper channel.

would love the fix for this.

Do you have DIRECTV STREAM or directv satellite? What is the remote model (available at the top left and starts with RC) and the receiver model?

Same here, not going back to the previous channel. Keeps going to channel 100.

Exact same issue with returning to prior channel after watching program on DVR.  Been going on at least 5 or 6 weeks.  You would think with all the money we pay monthly something as simple as this would be fixed by now!  Been a loyal customer for over 20 years, shouldn't have to deal with this and seriously considering moving on to another TV platform service.

We have called Directv several times.  First we were told it would be fixed in a couple of days.  NOT!!  Then they said it’s not affecting everyone.  I don’t care that it is not affecting everyone…it is affecting ME!

@DIRECTVhelp  we have reset the receiver more than once and that does not resolve the issue.

Whenever I use the Previous button DTV sends me to channel 100 where they are pushing the sports package. This happens on my main box. My 2 smaller boxes work OK. I disconnected the power and let it re boot, no change. Makes me think they are more interested in me buying their sports channel than anything else.

Just one more reason why everyone is walking away from their cable providers & embracing streaming companies. And why is it only a problem with sporting events? 

Can't bounce between games anymore. Thought it was me. But no, I'm only allowed to watch  one game in delay at a time without recording both & restarting each recording when I want to watch the other game. Instead of just  one button.

DTV is not a cable provider. Double play does that.

I too just started having a problem with the "prev" button on my remote. DirectTV Stream user for many years. Suddenly the previous button no longer works. I tried using a different DirectTV Stream remote (same model), re-paired it to my Sony TV and again the previous channel button doesn't work!

Any ideas?

Update: I just discovered it works fine using the new profile I just set up for my wife two days ago. Has to be related to the "profiles" feature.
