Pause in between changing channels

 Had an issue with my direct tv. Called customer services, they walked me through reset my HDDVR back to factory default. Fixed the problem I called about, but created another problem. In which, customer could not fix.  I NOW HAVE A PAUSE IN BETWEEN CHANGING CHANNELS.  WHEN I CHANGE CHANNELS, THE SCREEN IS PINK FOR ABOUT 4 TO 5 SECONDS.  It wasn't like that before, the phone call to customer services.  She walked me throught everything she could think of.  Now a service guy needs to come out.  ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS.  PLEASE.
